Summer Dance Camp Schedule

Join us this summer for week-long dance camps.

Explore new styles of dance while working on technique in a week-long camp. No previous dance experience is required to attend camp. Styles range from ballet, hip-hop and tap and jazz and are available to children as young as three.
Camps are priced per week. Camps that consist of one-hour long classes are $60 a week. Camps that consist of two-hour long classes are $120 a week.

Summer Dance Camp Schedule

Summer 2023

June 26th-June 30th 3-4 p.m.

1st & 2nd Grade Ballet

Children entering first or second grade may sign up. Students will learn the basics of ballet, work on proper technique and toe pointing with the help of fun games and music.

June 26th-June 30th 4-5 p.m.

1st & 2nd Grade Tap/Jazz

Students entering first or second grade may sign up. Students will spend half the class time practicing jazz and the other half practicing tap. The combined class will dive into tap and jazz technique.

June 26th-June 30th 5-7 p.m.

Pre-Pointe Ballet

Students must be going into 6th grade or higher and have taken at least one year of ballet class in order to sign up for this class. This is a technique, strength and stability training class to prepare students for dancing in pointe shoes.

July 17th-July 21st  2-3 p.m.

Introduction to Dance (4-5 year-olds)

For your dancer turning four or five, this class is to introduce them to all the types of dance taught at Releve. Each day will include a focus on a different dance style including: tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop.

July 17th-July 21st  3-4 p.m.

3rd & 4th Grade Ballet

Students entering the third and fourth grade may sign up. Students will spend the hour practicing ballet technique and learning exercises and stretches to improve overall strength and flexibility.

July 24th-July 28th  4-5 p.m.

3rd & 4th Grade Tap/Jazz

Students entering the third and fourth grade may sign up. Students will spend half the class advancing in their tap technique and the other half learning jazz.

July 24th-July 28th 5-6 p.m.

3rd & 4th Grade Hip-Hop

Students entering third and fourth grade may sign up. This is an upbeat class where students will learn to maintain rhythm and perform freestyle and floorwork dance moves.

July 31st-August 4th 3-4 p.m.

5th-7th Grade Ballet

Students entering fifth through seventh grade may sign up. Perfect intermediate ballet technique and learn stretches and exercises for flexibility and stability.

July 31st-August 4th 4-6 p.m.

5th-8th Grade Tap/Jazz

Students entering grades fifth through seventh may sign up. This class is two hours, one focused on jazz, the other focused on tap. Learn new tap and jazz formations and moves while continuing to perfect intermediate technique.

July 31st-August 4th 6-8 p.m.

9th-12th Grade Tap/Jazz

Students entering eighth through twelfth grades. Students will split the two-hour class between tap and jazz, learning advanced tap moves and different jazz techniques and formations.

August 7th-August 11th 3:30- 4:30 p.m.

Pre-Ballet (3-year-olds)

Students may be close to turning three or four years of age. Potty-trained is preferred but not required for this class. Students will be introduced to group instruction, practicing rhythm and learning dance basics. A parent must be present during this class and may be asked to participate.

August 14th-18th 4-6 p.m.

8th-12th Grade Ballet

Students entering eighth through twelfth grades. This two-hour advanced ballet class will include intricate technique perfecting and muscle training.

August 14th-18th 6-7 p.m.


Students must have permission from instructors to sign up. The class will focus on ankle strength training, stability practice and pointe technique.
